Cicloviaggiando tra i Borghi is the new project dedicated to all the lovers of cycling, villages and territories to explore with the strength of their legs. A collaboration between borghimagazine.it and Love Wheels 646, creature born from the passion of Giuseppe Campochiaro for cycling and exploration of beauty. The first stage of this on the road documentary to discover the villages and their territories will be the Amalfi Coast. A route of 150 km, from Vietri sul Mare to Positano, passing from Casola di Napoli, that will cross Albori, Cetara, Maiori, Atrani, Ravello, Scala, Cesarano, Valico di Chiunzi, Corbara, Angri, S. Antonio Abate, Piazza, Pimonte, Agerola, Pianillo, Furore e Praiano. All in three days of sport, nature, authentic flavors and wonderful landscapes, the weekend of 6, 7 and 8 April.
Giuseppe Campochiaro will deal with the stages accompanied by a video operator who, armed with a drone, will produce magnificent images and sequences of the journey that will amaze you for their beauty, the charm of the places and the people they meet. On the site of Borghi magazine will tell everything that they will discover with a wealth of details, a true journey diary, helped by images and videos.
All that remains is to invite you to follow along with us Cicloviaggiando tra i Borghi, to promote alternative and sustainable mobility and to let you discover the territories and the beauty of the villages, the first true Made in Italy, the culture, the typical products telling a route on which you can play and let you go to the euphoria of a sprint on the village streets.
After crossing twenty nations and two continents – Santiago de Compostela (850 km) in 2014; from Amorosi (Benevento, Campania) to Cape North (5500 km) in 2015 and from Sannio Valley to Los Angeles (10,000 km) in 2016 – the campano cyclist Giuseppe Campochiaro was appointed Ambassador of Solidarity and sport from the village of Amorosi, and in 2017 gave life to the project “Cicloviaggiando between history and flavors”, with the aim of promoting the Made in Sannio and Italian history and flavors, rediscovering, thanks to starred chefs, the typical recipes of the territories and the products of the Sannio and Irpinia. With experts in art and history, he has also told the beautiful and invaluable artistic heritage of our peninsula.
For the 2018 at the moment there are provided two stages in addition to the Amalfi Coast, that we invite you to discover in the coming months, for a summer rich of sustainable mobility, food and the excellence of Italian villages.
We conclude by giving you a taste of what will be this extraordinary green journey among the villages, with a video made last year by Love Wheels 646 on the Matese Lake:
Together with Love Wheels 646 and borghimagazine.it, welcome to Cicloviaggiando tra i Borghi.
