The well-known Museum of the Battle of Anghiari, which had already obtained recognition in 2014 at the end of a profound work of internal administrative and functional renewal, è was still rewarded in 2017 for the management of quality, through the renewal of the recognition of “Museum of relevance of the Region of Tuscany”.
The work begun in 2014 has led in the last three years to an important progression in terms of quality and quantity of visitors. Director Gabriele Mazzi stated:
“Anghiari has lent its name to an exceptional episode in the history and history of art and therefore it is our duty as Italian citizens and citizens of Anghiari to present our history in the best possible way. The occasion of the renewal of this recognition is a source of pride for the work done, but also, I believe, for the community. Soon we will also be able to show the programming for the next few years and at the moment we are working hard to present a package of interesting news.
The museum’s plans are now looking ahead to the next three years, to make further improvements to the range of services on offer in order to increase the user base.
