The history of Borgo Ca’ dei Sospiri dates back to 1563 as the residence of the emissaries of the Bishop of Torcello, occasionally used by the Venetian nobility. The current connotation is assumed in the first decade of 700 thanks to the improvements made by the Bishop Marco Giustinian. Restored in 1994 by the Pasini family, it has become an exclusive and elegant 4-star hotel, about fifteen kilometers from the airports of Venice and Treviso.
