The Marche is one of the Italian regions with the most beautiful nature. No wonder that there are numerous national and regional nature parks here as well as various WWF areas to protect the richness of the flora and fauna.

At the heart of this region you can find Cupramontana, the undisputed capital of Verdicchio wine. A flavourful white wine, one of the best Italian white wines, and whose name refers to the “green” colour of its grapes.

The town in the centre of the province of Ancona has about 4500 inhabitants. It rises 505 meters above sea level, the ideal place for those who want to spend a holiday surrounded by nature and enjoy hours of peace and quiet among olive groves and ancient vineyards.

The Cupramontana-Accoglie association was created in this area, a tourist information centre that wants to be available to visitors and tourists.

Cupramontana-Accoglie consists of twenty different accommodations such as agriturismi, bed & breakfasts, camping sites and holiday homes, all located near the centre of the municipality. Because of the passion and love for the territory, the members developed various walking routes, including to the Hermitage of the White Brothers – between Cupramontana and Poggio Cupro – or the one located in the Conca della Cesola.

The Cupramontana-Accoglie association is the point of reference for those who want to learn more about the area’s rural hospitality and eno-gastronomic traditions. Not to forget the numerous annual events such as the Sagra dell ‘Uva (wine festival) and the Night of the Verdicchio.
