The Parish Church of San Piero in Campo of Montecarlo is recalled in the 846, but the current building which has the basilican system with three naves monoabsidato, is referable to the XII century. The facade, in gray sandstone, is moved from the central portal, with jambs, lintel and archivolt in white marble. The upper part of the front proposes a drawing to small arches on stone columns with capitals and bases in marble, which includes at the center a mullioned window. The interior, very wide, is the score from a sequence of arches on columns with capitals in part a plant decoration, in part with figurations animals strongly geometrizzate. The adjacent bell tower seems to date back to a time prior to the XII century.
