MUDAM – Widespread Museum of Arts and Crafts

The MUDAM of Oriolo is a set of cultural heritage material and immaterial distributed in a natural way and homogeneous in a limited territory, a set of elements that tell so unanimous the identity and the historical and cultural value of the territory, showing the characteristic aspects and distinguishable: The widespread Museum valorises hidden potential of the territory, by activating the tourist flows in less known places.

The patrimony, which can be visited by itineraries free, can range from historical works – Artistic exhibition spaces, from collections for spontaneous architectures that testify activities, culture and local traditions. In the widespread museum in fact the story unfolds in relations between natural environment, urban landscape and craftsmen of the territory, a comparison which allows to understand the cultural heritage of the past, in the light of the activities and of the spaces still live in the present.

Part from the reconnaissance and opening to the public of the old artisan first of all by ensuring a uniform system of visual identity that allows the visitor to identify the places which are part of the circuit. Such homogeneity will be guaranteed by the study and realization of solutions consistent and capillaries of urban furniture: the thematic itinerary will be underlined by an appropriate signs with banner suspended or totem raccorderanno that the various elements of the circuit.

The route includes the following stages: Medieval castle, Palazzo Giannettasio – House of Culture, shops, wine cellars and the Putie.
