of the primitive building remain some traces in the biceps of fresco painting discovered during the last restoration: it is a question of the depictions of San Michele Arcangelo, of death and of fragmentary scenes of the stories of Saint Bernard of Menton, made in the early decades of the sixteenth century and assigned to the so-called Maestro di Savoulx.
