Gorgazzo is the name of one of the villages of Polcenigo, developed on the banks of the homonymous torrent. Many are the reasons that make of the sources of Gorgazzo an enchanting place. The color of its waters is certainly the most relevant. Shades of emerald green and turquoise, joined in the reflections of the sun create a chromatic game unique in its kind. The source is fed by the waters that come down to the valley through the cracks in the limestone rock, gather in an underground conduit that flows under the mountains and then resurface in the surface, forming a “Pozza” of water whose level varies according to the atmospheric events. Just a few meters from the source stands the church of the Holy Trinity, rebuilt and enlarged in the 16th century. A beautiful portico with arches leads directly to the inside of the sanctuary where you can admire the remarkable works of art.
